DON’T LOOK DOWN Gets a Starred Review From Library Journal!
My latest book, DON’T LOOK DOWN, has had a wild ride. It was released as the pandemic hit North America and most of my book tour had to be cancelled. (In retrospect, I was extremely lucky in that I got to have a Toronto party at Ben McNally Books before the book came out, and then events in New York with Sarah Weinman and Alex Segura before the city was shut down.) The reviews have been wonderful but many have been delayed as we’re all adjusted to our new normal. It was a huge thrill to learn that Library Journal just gave the audiobook a starred review! Here’s a little bit of what they say:
“Davidson’s wildly intense murder mystery grabs the listener from the beginning and holds on to the very end… The many characters are well written and have complex back stories that enhance the tale. The age-old themes of survival, class, ambition, greed, revenge, love, and deceit all come into play.”
Better late than never! If you’d like to read the full review, it’s available to the public as part of this article. PS The “Wildly Exciting Police Procedural” mentioned in the title is my book!
