QuebeCrime, Muskego & More
It’s been an exciting fall for me. I’ve been busy working on a new novel, some short fiction, and a novella. I’ve had the incredible pleasure of speaking at the first-ever QuebeCrime festival and the seventh annual Murder & Mayhem in Muskego. (The photo is from Muskego; I’m with my fantastic panel-mates Megan Abbott, Sean Chercover, Jen Forbus, and Martyn Waites.) I’ve been setting up my book tour for THE NEXT ONE TO FALL, which will be released on Valentine’s Day 2012; the tour is still a work-in-progress, but I know I’ll be returning to great bookstores in Houston, Scottsdale, and Toronto, and visiting new-to-me stores in Austin, Denver, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Also, I’ve been planning a trip to Israel for my day job. I’m thrilled that THE DAMAGE DONE will be released in paperback in January 2012. In case that weren’t enough good news, some very nice people have been writing unusually kind things about me (yes, I’m looking at you, Jen Forbus and Jacques Filippi). I owe a lot of people some very big thank yous. Expect hugs when I see you.
